From fifteen knees in Brooklyn to forty nations.

In 1996, fifteen to twenty Jamaican migrants gathered in a Brooklyn home to pray for revival in Jamaica. From that small, persistent cry, Intercessory Prayer Ministry International was born under the founding burden of Newton Gabbidon.

What began as concern for one nation expanded into a global mandate — raising up intercessors to stand in the gap for a world in need of awakening, peace, justice and hope. For nearly three decades, IPMI has served pastors, leaders, churches and diaspora communities through prayer gatherings, leadership convenings, and strategic partnerships.

Its message remains simple and urgent: hope still comes on its knees.
